Thank you very much for helping Chessa feel better. Her spirit is up again, and when it wasn't a few days after our visit, your staff was amazing in locating a vet who was able to see her. Chessa is doing well thanks to your unselfishness and putting your patients first.

I went to San Martin vet. the first year of my life, then we found my Dad's lost friend Dr. Switzer! He's so nice to me even when we have to do the annual thing that I don't like, he makes it easy on me. My parents are so happy! VCA tried to call me by the name of a long lost sister of mine who would be about 28 people years by now if she was still with the family. That made my Dad very upset. Not Dr. Switzer - we love him. All the staff at Live Oak are kind, caring and friendly. I'm SO glad we found them. Tell your friends, the best place to get good care is at Live Oak!!

Hello, Dr. Clark. It's me, Bailey. I wanted to let you know that I have been doing very well. I'm eating (and keeping it down) and running and playing and chewing (everything!!) and just being a puppy. Thanks for taking care of me!

With puppy kisses,

I wanted to Thank Mike(Switzer) for being there for Wolf and me when I had to face that difficult choice on Monday. I will say Mike is a very compassionate vet I've ever had. I had one other vet that was great, but he retired from small animal practice and I had shop for a new vet over 7 years ago. Being a very picky pet owner I needed get Wolf to the vet for his ear infection. I will say the very first time Mike walked through the door for I knew and felt he was a very special vet. I heard many things about Mike being very compassionate, and I saw that on Monday. I also love that beautiful card he sent me and gotten on Tuesday and what he wrote inside was so sweet and from the heart. Unlike most vets that just send you a mailer card saying sorry for your lost, Mike took his time to hand write and sign the card and mail it. I got to say I Love Mike Switzer and He's the Best Vet a Animal and Owner Can Have! I will be always have Mike as my vet as long as I have pets. I do have Wolf's Daughter!!!!! Yeah Mike unlike her father she's a in your face dog LOL!

When the notice from VCA came that the corgin needed their annual and Dr. Switzer was gone, I asked who was there. I did not recognize any names. Oh no! I want the vets who know my pets.

So I googled Dr. Switzer because Usi-Pie loves him most of all. Hooray! I found him at Live Oak and even better Dr. Clark and Haggerty too. Icing on the cake is Dr. Deb Sell is there for chiropractic care. So whatever care is needed, trusted vets are at Live Oak.

Congratulations on your beautiful new location and all best wishes for success and happiness.

I did not know Dr. Mike has switched until, I saw a billboard on the corner of Monterey Rd... Then Mikes name jumped right at me, I was like hmmmmm I just saw him at SM a few months ago. So, I googled LOVH and found him here. I'm glad he moved from the VCA Franchise of vet clinics and hospitals. I never never never had one good experience ever from any the VCA..... When I moved to this area I needed to shop for a vet and I was told by an AKC judge to go to SM use Dr Pete and Dr. Mike and SM was private. When Dr. Pete... retired and sold to VCA, the only reason I went back is for Dr. Mike. Now he and the other 2 moved and started a new private practice I'm happy. Because, All my life as far as I can remember I and my family had bad things with VCA. Please don't ever go VCA or sell your private practice to VCA!

We moved here to Gilroy in August of 2010 and hooked up with Dr. Switzer for our two boxers who had histories ofillnesses. When they both became very ill, Dr Switzer was so compassionate with their euthanasia it was really very touching for us. THen we got two new boxer babies and took them to see Dr. Switzer for the "puppy package" . Then, like others, he and the other vet were gone. We too searched the web site until I finally saw a sign at the corner of Masten and Monterey with his name on it. We will be back for our girls soon! Any suggtestions as to how to obtain medical records in a timely manner?

Congrats, Live Oak Veterinary Staff! You're free from the corporate mumbo-jumbo!! Thank you so much for all of the care and advice you have provided over these last three months to our furry-legged family members. We were pleased to not blow our whole months savings on just one visit, unlike when we went to VCA. We look forward to our next visit, its always a joyful experience with all of this staff.

I called to get some tablets for my dog, Katy, and found out Dr. Switzer was not at San Martin any more, so my husband and I decided to see if Mike was still in the area. I found your website and his name on the web and boy, was I glad! He is great with animals and my dog is pretty hard to get along with sometimes (an aussie) but she loves Mike! I will call to make an appointment and do what it takes to get Katy's records from San Martin, because he has been wonderful, not only to my dogs, but to us. Good to see you all again!

I am a huge fan of Drs. Clark, Haggerty, and Switzer. My animals have been patients of each of the doctors. Dr. Clark went above and beyond when I had an emergency with my dog. She performed an unusual jaw surgery on Daisy, which was very successful and has allowed Daisy to have a normal life. Dr. Haggerty has been great with my French Lop, Ernie, and directed us in getting proper care for an eye issue that required special surgery. She knows smaller animals as well as cats and dogs and horses. Dr. Switzer took care of my dog (Daisy again!), when she wore down her foot pads in a marathon game of fetch the ball (on our asphalt driveway-I bad.)

Its very important to be able to trust our vets when unusual problems come up, as well as for the routine care. I was so happy to find out that they are here in Morgan Hill.

You can't imagine how shocked I was last month when I took my dog to San Martin VCA to get a rabies shot and found out that both of my vets were gone. I was so excited to find out that my two favorite vets, Dr. Switzer and Dr. Clark, are at Live Oak Vet Hospital. Now the only problem is getting copies of my records. I've been waiting over two weeks and still not available from San Martin VCA. With or without records, if my animals get sick I will be going to Live Oak for treatment.

I was so happy to hear that you all left San Martin Vet Hospital. We've had one bad experience after the other since VCA took over.
We'll be seeing you soon!

Glad to find you. I saw the sign on the outside of the hospital with your names on it. My mother in law and I were so happy to see that you were still in town. I've been with SM vet for over 20 years.

I was quite dismayed when I called VCA in November to set up an appointment for Sierra and Jack to see Dr. Haggerty to get their travel certificates for a trip to Hawaii in January. I had been working with Dr. Haggerty on this travel project since July! VCA wouldn't tell me where Dr. Haggerty had gone to. I then asked for Dr. Switzer and was told he was gone too. Double whammy. I've been periodically doing google searches on both their names to see where they landed and today was my lucky day. I'm so happy they are here in Morgan Hill and my pups won't have to see someone new! Congratulations on the new Practice. See you on the 30th.

I was so excited to drive by the old Animal Care Center and see your sign and Dr. Switzer's name! Our last experience at San Martin was horrible, I now see why, and we were shopping for a new happy that we don't have to search for a new doctor, AND you are closer to us :-) I will spread the word!

I am so excited that you have opened so close to us!! I have been a fan of Dr. Clark ever since she has provided such excellent care for my basset hounds!! I am also very pleased that Lynette has joined you as well. She provided such extra special care during a difficult time when I really needed some compassion as we put one of our beloved hounds to sleep. Best wishes for a successful new adventure!!!

Congratulations! All of you have cared for our pets in the past - am so glad you are remaining in the area and now will be located closer to my home. Lynette is such an asset to your group! I was happy to learn she is with you. If I can help in any way please let me know...Spud was cared for by Dr. Switzer this August after being bitten twice in the chest by a big rattler...Looking forward to working with you in your new location. Best wishes!

We had been going to San Martin Vet Hospital for 23 years, and Dr Switzer was our primary vet. I was ecstatic when a friend e-mailed me that he had relocated at Live Oak. Not only is Mike an outstanding vet, but he is one of the most compassionate people to be found in animal care. When I called to make an appointment yesterday, I was really happy to find Lynette at Live Oak too! What a great hospital this will be!
